A Cambridgeshire hybrid, a Shropshire wine shop founded by an ex-police officer and a self-styled “offie of dreams” will battle it out for the title of Newcomer of the Year at the 2027 Drinks Retailing Awards.
Broadway Cellars of St Ives, Wenlock Cellars of Much Wenlock and London’s Charlie’s Drinks Store have been shortlisted for the accolade, the winner of which will be announced alongside those of all the other awards categories at our prestigious ceremony on February 2 next year.
At the opposite end of drinks retailing’s evolutionary scale, the established quartet of Cambridge Wine Merchants, Loki Wine, Oxford Wine Company and Tanners Wines have been shortlisted for the Regional Group of the Year.
