The deadline to enter the Drinks Retailing Awards 2026 has been extended by one week and now falls on August 15. 

Retailers across the UK have until midnight on Friday 15 August to enter the DRAs. 

Independent and smaller-scale retailers, including those that operate independently of a parent company, can enter for free online. 

Convenience store retailers and convenience chains can also submit entries at no charge online. 

Shortlisted retailers will then receive an invitation to the awards, to be held at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane on Tuesday 3 February 2026. 

The awards evening includes a three-course meal and drinks, plus accommodation at a nearby hotel for indie finalists. 

The independent categories include: newcomer, hybrid, luxury, convenience, beer & cider retailer, wine retailer, spirits retailer, drinks retailer, Champagne and sparkling wine retailer, regional chain, excellence in training and education and online retailer. 

Indie finalists will be announced in early September followed by the full set of finalists in January. The winners will be announced at the event in February.
