Specialist low/no retailer Club Soda is set to launch a new personalised consultation service aimed at consumers who are new to the category.

Running throughout January 2024 at Club Soda’s Covent Garden site, the retailer’s ‘Tailored Tastings’ will involve a guided tasting of the shop’s low/no offerings, allowing consumers to learn more about their personal preferences.

The private tasting sessions will be available to groups of any size, with prices sitting at £30 per person including a £5 post-session purchase credit and a furoshiki cloth used for wrapping bottles.

Club Soda founder Laura Willoughby said the service looks to help more consumers discover what the low/no category has to offer, particularly as many drinkers look to moderate their alcohol intake in the new year.

“Most people will be stocking their fridge with fruit juice and tonic following the indulgence of Christmas,” she said. “With Tailored Tastings, we want to help everyone find their perfect serve. We’re on hand with open bottles to taste through a colourful landscape of sophisticated drinks, with the mission that everyone goes away with a discovery they love.”
