Club Soda, the mindful drinking movement, has announced the headline speakers for its No, Low and Mid-Strength Summit, taking place on 21–22 October at the Coin Street Neighbourhood in Waterloo, London.
The two-day summit will gather global leaders in the no, low & mid-strength drinks sector, including founders, policy experts, mixologists and innovators, said Club Soda.
The sessions will cover the cultural, commercial and regulatory forces driving change across the category.
Highlights of the speaker programme include Jörg Geiger, an alcohol-free pioneer known for his work in orchard-based fermentation, interviewed by broadcaster Nigel Barden; Tom Surgey, best known as one of the hosts of The Wine Show; and Tonia Antoniazzi MP, chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group.
Millie Gooch, founder of The Sober Girl Society, is also a standout speaker. Mei Kyotani, assistant section manager for Asahi; Erika Doyle from Drink Dry; and Chris Becker from Better Rhodes will join the lineup to discuss global trends.
Drinks Retailing editor Jo Gilbert will also take the stage, discussing why trade and consumer media are important for low & no brands.
As well as talks, attendees of the Club Soda conference can join practical masterclasses on export routes to market, labelling and media strategy.
At the same time, the programme features mini-conferences on functional and mood-enhancing drinks, mid-strength innovation and the future of wine.
There is also the chance to attend one-to-one meetings with more than 30 buyers, including Marks & Spencer, Ocado and Liberty Wines.
“Expert sessions with DBT country specialists and sponsors such as PB Creative and Grow London add further depth,” explained Club Soda.
The first day concludes with a dinner at Soho House, with Soho House buyers in attendance.
Laura Willoughby MBE, founder of Club Soda and Chair of the Summit, said: “This year’s line-up brings together some of the brightest and boldest voices in the mindful drinking space. From exploring shifting consumer behaviour, to rethinking the role of mid-strength and functional beverages, these conversations are vital for shaping the industry’s future. The Soho House dinner is an exciting addition – a chance for our community to connect, celebrate and share ideas in one of London’s most iconic venues.”
