Champagne Bollinger and Curious Vines have partnered to launch a new award for women and non-binary people working in the UK wine trade who are looking to expand their Champagne knowledge.

The Champagne Education Award, which is now open for application, provides an in-depth insight into Champagne theory and tasting. The successful applicant will be enrolled on the Wine Scholar Guild’s Champagne Masters Program led by industry experts.

The winner will also be given the opportunity to attend a Champagne Bollinger tutored tasting and the Bordeaux Index 20 Years On Vintage Champagne Tasting in May with Curious Vines founder Queena Wong.

Both tastings will be held in London, while the Champagne Masters Program will take place via live online classes. To encourage attendees from across the UK, travel cost assistance will be offered for those living outside of the M25.

Those looking to apply for the Champagne Education Award can do so by emailing queena@curiousvines.co.uk for the application form or by filling out the form online. The application deadline is Friday April 5.

The winner will be selected by the Champagne Bollinger team and Queena Wong. They will be notified by April 19.
