Champagne Ayala, which is owned by the parent company of Champagne Bollinger, has appointed a new general manager.
Having worked for the Bollinger Group since 2009, Cédric Roblet will take up the role with effect from 14 September 2026.
Roblet began his career at Champagne Bollinger in management control before moving to Champagne Ayala in 2016 as chief financial officer (CFO). He later assumed the additional responsibilities of company secretary.
Ayala said that, as CFO, Roblet played a major role in overseeing the house’s financial operations and managing the French market.
The house added that his in-depth understanding of the business will aid him in his new role, where he will lead its expansion plans and growth in international markets.
Alongside Roblet’s promotion, Champagne Ayala said it has recently made substantial investments in its production facilities, including the extension of its winery and cellars.
At the same time, the house continues to invest in its visitor experience, with new hospitality facilities currently under development.
Gonzague Villeday, CEO of Bollinger Group, said: “Cédric’s deep understanding of Champagne Ayala, combined with his strong leadership, strategic vision and longstanding commitment to the house, make him ideally placed to lead Ayala through its next phase of development.
“We are delighted to appoint him as general manager and look forward to supporting his ambitions for the house in the years ahead.”
