Buckingham Schenk will reveal a new brand from Rod McDonald Wines at next week’s New Zealand Winegrowers tasting event.

Mister is described as a “modern Hawke’s Bay love story. The love of the grape, the land, the adventure and the road that led you there”.

The range comprises six wines: Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rose and Syrah; all of which come from some of the greatest vineyard sites in Hawke’s Bay, according to the UK wine importer.

In addition to Mister, Buckingham Schenk will also be presenting other premium wines from New Zealand at the annual tasting event, including new products from Rock Ferry Wines alongside its Rock Ferry and single vineyard wines and Te Awanga and Trademark from Rod McDonald Wines.

Craig Durham, managing director at Buckingham Schenk, said: “This is the first time we have exhibited at the New Zealand Winegrowers trade tasting and we are thrilled to be there with two such excellent producers who are both showing new wines that demonstrate the breadth and diversity that New Zealand has to offer.”

Rod McDonald Wines is a family-owned wine business run by the Farrugia and McDonald families.

Rock Ferry Wines is an organic winery with vineyards in Marlborough and Central Otago. The company is owned by husband and wife team Tom and Fiona.
