Bloom Gin has unveiled its latest Fruit and Floral Fusions, Bloom Passion Fruit & Vanilla Blossom Gin and Bloom Raspberry & Rose Gin.

The new variants have been inspired by “some of the hottest flavour trends in the cocktail scene” according to the producer.

The two newcomers will launch in Tesco in May. The first variant has been inspired by the popular cocktail, The Pornstar Martini, while the second takes inspiration from the Raspberry Mojito cocktail.

Flavoured gins grew by £82 million in the off-trade in 2019 and DRN recently reported that flavoured gin sales also increased 125% year-on-year in the week to March 21, as shoppers stocked up for the coronavirus lockdown.

Bloom is also revamping its bottle label design for its Fruit and Floral Fusions in order to improve shelf standout.

At launch the bottles will include neck tags showcasing the signature cocktail serves. The launch will also be supported by a marketing campaign to drive awareness of the two new expressions.

Elaine Maher, Global Brand Director for Bloom Gin, said “Bloom Gin is loved by fans for its style, sass and substance, and with the introduction of our new Fruit and Floral Fusion Gins, we’re giving them the unmistakeably smooth taste of Bloom Gin, but with two of the hottest cocktail flavour trends incorporated. Our new signature serves bring something truly new and exciting to the gin cocktail category, with reduced calorie cocktail recipes that appeal to both calorie counters and cocktail lovers alike!

“Given that cocktails are now one of the fastest growing drinks categories within spirits, we’re confident that our new Fruit and Floral Fusions will delight consumers, especially over the summer months. We hope they will inspire consumers to further experiment with flavoured gin, recreating their favourite cocktails at home using Bloom’s signature serve suggestions, which can be found on the Bloom Gin website. Be it getting ready for a big night out, or enjoying a girl’s night in, Bloom Gin has it covered!”

The new variants will be available in Tesco stores and online via Tesco and Amazon from May, priced at £25 for 70cl bottles. Both will be available in all channels in the UK from mid-May.
