As demand for aperitivo-style drinks continues to grow, Berry Bros. & Rudd has announced the launch of its new Pick ‘n’ Spritz cocktail kits.

According to the retailer, the kits, which launch tomorrow, are designed to make preparing cocktails at home easier for consumers.

Each kit contains everything needed to create one of five drinks: the St-Germain Spritz, No.3 Gin Long Martini, Kiyoko Lemon Spritz, King’s Spritz and Madre Long Saramago.

Aimed at the premium market, Berry Bros. & Rudd said the kits include all the ingredients required, with consumers simply needing to add sparkling wine and ice to complete the serve.

Rob Whitehead, spirits buyer at Berry Bros. & Rudd, said: “The summer spritz trend shows no sign of disappearing, so we wanted to create something that enables our customers to enjoy bar-quality sparkling cocktails at home or out and about during the beautiful British summer we’re having.”

The launch coincides with the growing popularity of spritz serves in the UK. While the Aperol Spritz remains the most popular option, a wider range of spritzes are continuing to gain traction.

According to NIQ data, there are increasing opportunities for spritzes made with vodka, tequila and gin. For gin particularly, the insights provider said the serve style offers a fresh route to growth following declining sales.
