Berry Bros & Rudd has announced its chief operating officer and MD International, Jeremy Parsons, is to leave the business after 11 years.

Natalie Tennent will take on International Wine and Spirits responsibilities, reporting to the group’s new ceo, Dan Jago.

Berry Bros & Rudd chairman, Simon Berry said; “We are extremely grateful for Jeremy’s contribution and for all of his efforts on the Company’s behalf over the past 11 years. With Dan now fully operational however and the new organisational structure announced, Jeremy has decided it is a natural transition point for him to look for his next career move and will be leaving the business at the end of May.

“On behalf of the Berry and Rudd families I would like to thank him personally for the great commitment and loyalty he has shown, in particular for the role he played in leading last year’s strategic review of the business for the Board and the support he has given Dan since last October.

“Jeremy has been instrumental in leading the Spirits team for more than eight years through the sale of Cutty Sark and the creation of BB&R Spirits where the team has been successfully developing a portfolio of super-premium brands including; The Glenrothes Malt Whisky, No.3 Gin, The King’s Ginger Liqueur and The Berry’s range of cask bottlings. He also oversaw the acquisition of BB&R’s interest in Anchor Brewers and Distillers in San Francisco and has represented the families on the ABD Board since 2011.  Jeremy has been a member of the BB&R family Board for the past three years and has been managing the International wine business through a major re-structuring exercise this past year.
