Berry Bros & Rudd is hosting a charity auction at its base in London’s St James’s district as part of its ongoing fundraising campaign for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, the motor neurone disease charity.

Auction lots at the event on September 22 will include tickets for Wimbledon show courts, lunch in the wine merchant’s directors’ dining room and a two-day Champagne experience for eight, including visits to Pol Roger (pictured) and Louis Roederer.

BBR began its support for the charity – founded by the late former Scotland rugby union international Doddie Weir – in 2023, inspired by the exploits of its own wine buyer and Paralympic snowboarder Davy Żyw, who was diagnosed with MND in 2018.

It has since raised more than £750,000 for MND research and is looking to push the figure beyond £1m.
