Californian wine brand Apothic has launched a new advertising campaign ahead of Christmas, with a focus on the wine’s drinkability and ‘smooth’ style. 

Running across Sky video-on-demand from November 6 – December 14, the advert features three of the brand’s core products: Apothic Red, Apothic Cab and the newly launched Apothic Merlot, with the tagline ‘Beyond Smooth’.

The campaign looks to reach around two million UK consumers. 

Mark Stammers, UK sales director for Apothic’s parent company E&J Gallo Winery, said the brand is performing strongly in both the UK and on an international scale, which he attributed to Apothic’s “widely appealing smooth wine style”. 

He continued: “Through this campaign, we’re aiming to increase brand awareness and encourage trial at an important time in the calendar for premium wines.”
