Winecap has welcomed Adrian Brice as its new head of buying, following Brice’s decade-long career as a fine wine buyer for Berry Bros. & Rudd.

According to the fine wine investment platform, Brice will be responsible for all purchasing decisions for both Winecap and Westgarth Wines.

Through this, he will lead the global procurement and buying strategies for both entities, further solidifying the group’s reputation in the fine wine world.

Following more than two decades in the industry, Winecap said it values Brice’s strong relationships within the wine trade, both in London and internationally.

It continued that his tenure at Berry Bros. & Rudd aligns him with some of the industry’s strongest purchasing power.

His knowledge of winemaking is also highly regarded, with Winecap pointing to Brice’s qualifications in Winemaking and Wine & Spirit Business Studies from the Burgundy School of Business.

Alexander Westgarth, CEO of Winecap, commented: “Securing the right wines at the right price has always been critical to our approach – bringing Adrian to the team significantly increases our opportunities.

“His deep-rooted industry relationships and extensive procurement expertise allow us to offer access to a wider range of fine wines at more competitive pricing.”

Brice added: “I am thrilled to lead the buying strategy for Winecap. Our mission is to provide our diverse clientele with access to the very best wines in the world.

“Building on my long-standing relationships with the very best suppliers, we can offer our customers a first-class experience tailored to their needs.”
