Adnams has added to its RTD portfolio as it continues to tap into the trend for pre-mixed gin and tonics.

The 25cl cans, which contain the producer’s Copper House Pink Gin & Tonic, are designed for picnics and outdoor occasions.

The recently launched pink gin variant of its popular Copper House Dry Gin has flavours of raspberry with hints of hibiscus and juniper. The original dry gin is handcrafted from East Anglian grains and six botanicals: juniper, cardamom pod, coriander seed, orris root, orange peel and hibiscus flower.

Adnams head distiller, John McCarthy, said: “We are special in that we’re grain-to-glass, which most distillers cannot do. We make the base alcohol in our brewhouse and brew a beer with no hops in it with Adnams yeast, which we then take into a distillery and turn into a vodka and then into a gin. We created this ready-to-drink Pink G&T with raspberries and six carefully selected botanicals to capture the essence of the English summer”.

Adnams has also created a tonic to complement its spirits. The tonic is made with natural botanicals and myrtle-leaf orange sourced from the Liguria region of Italy.
