Awin Barratt Siegel has launched a new volcanic wine Le Tracteur Vert, from the Côtes d’Auvergne region of France.

Aimed at independent retailers this 100% Gamay wine is grown on the ash, lava and basalt deposits of the volcanic Puy mountain chain.

To help promote Le Tracteur Vert, ABS along with producers Desprat Saint Verny is launching a UK wide promotion for this new line.
The competition, which is open to all wine retailers, will award prizes to the best in-store display and/or window display posted online using the hashtags #greentractor #volcanicwines @abswines @despratsaintverny, during the month of September.

The best dressed window or in-store display will win a two-night trip for two people to visit the Auvergne region and attend the “La Sortie de la Legendaire” dinner with a VIP visit to Desprat Saint Verny.

The two runners up will each win a magnum of the Legendaire Red and Legendaire White. Charles Hawkins of ABS Wines said: “The structure of Le Tracteur Vert represents the Volcanic soils thus giving depth and spicy flavours. Not only that it offers great value for money. Thanks to Léa (Desprat) for putting together a fantastic itinerary for this prize opportunity to visit one of the hidden gems of France.”

The wine is packed in a box of six 75cl bottles and is available exclusively from Awin Barratt Siegel Wine.
