31Dover has launched a new premium spirits subscription service designed to “lead its members on a voyage of discovery and flavour”.

Off The Still will explore distillation to unearth different liquids and “remarkable bottles”.

Each month members will discover the stories behind the bottle and understand how it develops its unique taste. They will hear direct from the producers who will reveal tales of their early successes and failures, and the secrets behind how they created the bottles. The will also receive information on the production of these spirits as well as cocktails and serving suggestions.

The service will include rare single malt whiskies, artisan rums and even sustainable lava-filtered vodkas, according to the company.

Ashika Matthews, director of buying at DMD, parent company of 31Dover, said: :Joining Off The Still means signing up for a journey of discovery – it is for those who want to take a leap into the wide and thrilling world of spirits with us as their guide. We will bring the best bottles to life with stories direct from the people who make these drinks, essential information about why the spirits taste the way they do, and the best ways to enjoy drinking them.

“Communicating the background stories and production information in engaging inventive ways will be a key part of the membership experience. We will be conjuring the spirit of adventuring and exploring, using visual cues like maps and evocative imagery to ensure members feel like they are being transported to where these amazing bottles are made.”
A monthly subscription costs £40 and includes a bottle of premium spirits two hand-picked mixers each month and an extra small bottle or gift.

The service launches later this month and early subscribers can get 50% off their first month using the code SPIRITED50 when visiting www.offthestill.com
