Cadbury Wispa is back on TV from this week with a series of 10-second TV ads based on the For the Love of Wispa campaign, which invited fans to participate by pledging items on a dedicated website.

Red Bull will be available in bigger 47.3cl cans from this month with a recommended retail price of £1.99.

United Biscuits has appointed Paul Graham as UK sales director. Graham has been with the company for 11 years and has been promoted from his current role of grocery trading director.

Vimto Soft Drinks has created a 25cl re sealable pouch with a twist cap designed for on-the-go consumers. It will hit shelves in May.

BIC has joined forces with the ING Renault Formula One team to launch a limited edition collection of BIC Mini and Maxi lighters and cases in its famous racing colours.

Richard Hemming MW: beware inverse snobbery

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
