Happy Egg’s Freeman joins Accolade to market Hardys

Hardys and Echo Falls wine supplier Accolade Wines has appointed Lydia Freeman as marketing manager.

Freeman joins the company from Noble Foods where she was senior brand manager for the Happy Egg brand.

She has also worked for Allied Bakeries and Glaxo Smith Kline where she worked on brands such as Kingsmill, Lucozade and Ribena.

Freeman will lead the team on Hardys – the UK’s biggest-selling wine brand – and Jam Shed, reporting to marketing director David White. 

She will oversee the cricket-themed Rules According to Hardys campaign.

White said: “She will bring a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the business, and will be responsible for taking our lead Australian wine brands, particularly Hardys, to the next level.”
