Broadland appoints new national account manager

Broadland Wineries has announced the appointment of Matthew Vowles as national account manager.

Vowles joins from Treasury Wine Estates where he was business manager working on Blossom Hill, Wolf Blass, Lindemans and 19 Crimes. Prior to this he worked with Percy Fox, moving over when Treasury bought Blossom Hill.

Peter Bisley, sales director, Broadland Wineries, said: “Over the last year Broadland has achieved a significant number of retail listings for its branded products through multiple grocers in the UK, Europe and the USA. Matt’s role will be specifically to build distribution of the brands in the UK at the same time as strengthening our branded expertise across the whole business.”

Vowles’ appointment follows that of Liz Cobbold in April as senior brand manager. Cobbold previously held positions at Adnams and Tesco. She was promoted to marketing director with responsibility for the UK and the USA in September.
