St Peter's Brewery appoints new MD

St Peter's Brewery has appointed John Hadingham as its new managing director.

Hadingham moves over from Aspall Cyder, where he was responsible for sales, team development and branding in both the on and off-trades.

In this new role he will be focusing on sales strategy and new product development as the company looks to expand into new markets and categories. St Peter's recently unveiled its new bottling line and it also said sales of its beers are "soaring".

Hadingham said: "I am very excited to be joining St Peter's Brewery as MD at a time when the brand is expanding production and looking to develop its range. My background is in brand development, sales and team development and I intend to use my expertise to make St Peter's Brewery one of the major players in brewing and build on the excellent success it has already achieved in the on and off-trade."

John Murphy, owner of St Peter's Brewery, said: "John brings with him a wealth of experience and skills that are a perfect fit for us. We have a great brand, a strong portfolio of products and the team and equaipment to increase our production. We have some catching-up to do in certain marketing areas, but I believe John is up to the challenge."

Hadingham replaces former ceo, Steve Magnall, who resigned from the company recently. He plans to return to food production, joining his wife in her bakery business.
