Whitley Neill adds Rye Vodka to its premium spirits line up

01 June, 2018

Whitley Neill has added a Rye Vodka to its portfolio of premium spirits.

Whitley Neill’s Rye Vodka is triple distilled in copper stills and made almost exclusively from winter rye. The vodka is described as having a clean aroma, with “subtle hints of black pepper, vanilla and liquorice”. The rye is said to give it a “very smooth and silky finish, rounded off with hints of sweetness and spice”.

The drink, which will be priced at £26, will initially only be available at Morrisons, on Amazon, wholesale channels, online distributors and traditional routes to market, according to the company.

James Stocker, marketing director, said: “As more consumers discover the Whitley Neill family they are increasingly interested in exploring the range. While gin might be their main spirit of choice, our data shows many of them will also drink vodka on occasion, making this the perfect complement to the brand’s award-winning portfolio. Not only does it rival any competitors in its price-bracket on taste, it also displays great provenance and authenticity, making it an easy product to invest in.”

The Whitley Neill brand is owned by Halewood Wines & Spirits.
