Angioletti grows its UK presence with new variant

Angioletti, the craft Italian cider brand, has introduced a new variant for the UK market.

Angioletti Riserva will be launched exclusively in 400 Morrisons stores, priced at £2.00 per bottle.

The new variant is the second UK this year from the Italian brand, with Angioletti Secco, in 50cl bottles, now listed in more than 400 Tesco stores.

Founder, David Peek, said: “For a brand that is still less than two and a half years old, I am very proud of what we have achieved so far, and I am confident that Angioletti has huge scope for further growth, and we already have more exciting launches confirmed for later in 2018.

The brand was first introduced into the UK in 2016 and is described as “the only real Italian cider sold in the UK”. The ciders are made from 100% apples (no concentrate), pressed, fermented and bottled in Trentino by cidermaker Matteo Corazzolla. The ciders are made by the same method as Prosecco. 

Angioletti and Cidersmiths ended their parnership arrangements with Budweiser Budvar at the end of last year.
