Buckingham Schenk appoints new off-trade account manager

13 May, 2018

Buckingham Schenk has appointed John Ruck-Keene as its new off-trade account manager.

Ruck-Keene joins from Liberty where he was national account manager with a particular focus on developing new business with established and emerging accounts. Before this, he worked for Enotria & Coe as national account manager and he also held a variety of roles during a nine year period at Majestic.

The appointment follows a recent range review of Buckingham Schenk’s sales department, spearheaded by sales director Andy Rawlinson. Ruck-Keene joins the off-trade team and will report into national off-trade manager, Alison Wray.

Craig Durham, managing director of Buckingham Schenk, said: “I am thrilled to welcome John to the team. Our off trade business has been our core strength for the last 40 years, and I believe John has the right experience and skill set to help us grow in an increasingly challenging market.”

Ruck-Keene added: “I am very pleased to be given the opportunity to join Buckingham Schenk. This is a very exciting time to come on board, particularly with the very strong supplier base and backing the company has from the Schenk Family Group.”
