Vindependents adds Eynsham Cellars to its list of members

20 April, 2018

Vindependents, the member-owned wine agency, has announced Eynsham Cellars in Oxfordshire is the latest retailer to join the group.

Eynsham Cellars, which was started by Oli Gauntlett and Iain Boyce in 2010, is the latest to join the group and it follows the news earlier this month that Nickolls and Perks had also signed up, bringing the total number to 36. Vindependents is aiming to secure 50 members across the UK.

Meanwhile, Vindependents has also announced it has added a new producer to its line-up: the wines of Domaine Bott-Geyl from Alsace are now available to members.

Vindependents’ managing director, Jessica Hutchinson, said: “It is fantastic news that Eynsham Cellars have joined Vindependents at a really exciting time for us. They are a very welcome addition to our membership covering the Oxfordshire area and we are really looking forward to working with them going forward. Asd we continue to grow we attract more and more interest from leading wine makers such as jean-Christophe Bott and will continue to add fantastic, high quality wines to our portfolio.”

Oli Gauntlett of Eynsham Cellars said: “My business partner Iain and myself visited the recent Vindependents tasting in Birmingham and are very impressed with the quality of the current range. We are excited to be getting involved with bringing in some fantastic wines which are unique in the UK to Vindependents, alongside such a great collection of respected merchants from around the country.”
