The Good Wine Shop hit by electrical fire

19 April, 2018

The Good Wine Shop has announced that all staff and shoppers at its Kew store emerged unscathed after an electrical fire raged through the shop.

It lost stock and half of the store was damaged in the blaze, but the retailer promised to be back open as soon as possible.

“After pretty bad day at our Kew shop, with an electrical fire causing quite some damage, we are pleased to report nobody is hurt other than lots of our lovely wine,” it announced.

“Many thanks for all the support from the amazing Kew village community and traders. We will be back and open ASAP.”

The Good Wine Shop has another branch in Chiswick and it has enjoyed plenty of success at our Drinks Retailing Awards in recent years.
