Freixenet launches Italian sparkling rose

18 April, 2018

Freixenet is gearing up to tap into the blossoming rose category with the launch of a new Italian sparkling variant.

The sparkling wine producer said the striking bottle design along with the “shimmering soft millennial pink hue” of the liquid, means the Italian rose is “sure to become the most ‘Instagrammable’ tipple of the season”.

The rose, which is a blend of Italy’s Glera and Pinot Noir grapes, offers flavours of summer fruits and is “light and refreshing” on the palate, according to the company.

The latest addition to Freixenet’s premium Italian range follows the introduction of its premier Prosecco, launched in may last year.

Freixenet Italian rose will be available to buy in Tesco stores from this week, priced at £12 per bottle, with other retailers set to be announced soon.
