Le Bon Vin to distribute Spain's Master's Selection Gin

07 April, 2018

Le Bon Vin is the new UK distributor of Master’s Selection Gin from Destilerias MG in Spain.

The gin will be officially launched to the trade at the annual Think Gin event, which takes place on April 30 in London. GIN MG and MG Tonic will also be revealed at the show.

All three drinks are produced by the family-owned distillery, Destilerias MG, which is based in Vilanova, a coastal town near Barcelona. The company has been producing spirits since 1940 when Manuel Giro launched GIN MG, a traditional London Dry gin.

Master’s Selection followed in the 1980s as a “revolutionary gin” that used premium ingredients and distillation methods. The gin uses Spanish estate-grown juniper, coriander and Guatemalan cardamom, along with a macerated combination of sweet oranges, bitter oranges and lemons from Valencia.

Le Bon Vin’s commercial director, Patrick Jouan, along with Gonzalo Zalbidea and Ana Ceballos of Destilerias MG, will officially launch the gin to the UK trade on April 30 at Think Gin 2018, which is a business focussed interactive drinks trade event presented by Drinks Retailing News.
