Vinexpo president Guillaume Deglise to leave role

05 April, 2018

Vinexpo chief executive Guillaume Deglise is standing down after the Hong Kong exhibition that takes place at the end of May.

The firm said Deglise is leaving to “embrace new career projects” in the wine and spirits industry after fulfilling the goals set out by the Bordeaux-Gironde Chamber of Commerce when he joined Vinexpo in 2013.

He said: “Having the chance to be in daily contact with winemakers, traders and buyers has been a very rewarding experience for me.

“I want to thank Vinexpo’s customers and partners for their confidence and support, and the Team Vinexpo that I am honoured to lead.”

Patrick Seguin, chairman of the Bordeaux-Gironde Chamber of Commerce, added: “We salute Guillaume Deglise’s guidance and professionalism. He managed to develop the brand Vinexpo in a highly competitive sector.”
