Firebird Brewing Co reveals redesigned portfolio

04 April, 2018

Firebird Brewing Company has redesigned its entire portfolio of beers and logo in order to extend its appeal to both modern and traditional consumers.

The Sussex-based company, which was established in 2013, brews a wide range of beer styles in all packaging formats.

The founders decided last year that over time the packaging and pump clip designs had “evolved into something that had left Firebird’s original values behind”. As a consequence a contemporary street art style of artwork has now been adopted with the redesign centred around the iconic bird logo.

Co-founder, Richard Peters, said: “The feedback has been unanimously positive and has already resulted in two new listing opportunities.”

The brewer also launched a seasonal single hop beer, Citra, in February to sit alongside the redesigned beers and Firebird’s website has also been redesigned to incorporate the new branding.

In addition, some of the brewer’s bottled beers have been moved into a can format to tap into the growing interest in 33cl canned craft beers.

Peters added: “This pack format has many well documented advantages and has shown that it appeals well to the type of consumers who would select our ‘Modern’ range beers.

“Initial signs are that this rebranding has succeeded in its objectives and will help Firebird in the next exciting phase of its growth.”
