Craftwork gears up to bring spirits to the UK

08 March, 2018

Craftwork, a new spirits marketing distribution agency, is being launched into the UK market.

The company, headed by drinks expert Jeremy Rockett, has been set up to develop distribution in the UK for a range of spirit, mixer and beer brands. The agency will cover the entire UK market from segments of the on-trade to online retailers, wine shops and multiple grocers in the off-trade.

The Craftwork portfolio will include carefully-selected brands such as Babicka Vodka, the company said.

Rockett, whose career history includes roles at Marblehead Brand Development, Gonzalez Byass UK and Marks & Spencer, said: “I am delighted to be heading up Craftwork, we have a fantastic proposition, which began gathering momentum as soon as discussions began. The board has over 75 years collective experience in the drinks trade and the team we have in place already covers all the key UK cities in the on-trade. We are taking on a handful of complementary agency brands in the UK and selected export markets, as well as delivering some exciting new products of our own as the year progresses.”

Babicka Original Wormwood Vodka is one of the first brands to have appointed Craftwork as an exclusive distributor for the UK. The company said it will announce new partnerships over the coming weeks and months.
