London Fields Brewery to be relaunched at Craft Beer Rising

21 February, 2018

London Fields Brewery will be relaunched at this week’s Craft Beer Rising event in London.

The Hackney-based brewery, which was acquired by Carlsberg UK last year, is revealing new brews, a new team and collaborations at the craft beer festival, which kicks off tomorrow for three days.

The brewery is launching a new beer - a lychee & coconut sour - which is the result of a collaboration project between head brewer Talfryn Provis-Evans and east London neighbour, Crate Brewery.

Provis-Evans has also teamed up with Peterborough-based Nene Valley Brewery to create their interpretation of banoffee pie in beer form called Banoff with your head.

The brewer will also showcase its revamped core line-up of beers at the festival, including “thirst-quenching ale” Hackney Hopster (4.2% abv), and hoppy wheat beer, 3 Weiss Monkeys (5% abv).

The coming year will see London Fields developing experimental and one-of-a-kind brews, alongside its core range.

London Fields was acquired by Carlsberg UK in July 2017; Carlsberg announced it would operate the business in a joint venture with Brooklyn Brewery from Brooklyn, New York, although London Fields would operate as an independent business.
