Luscombe Drinks adds light variant to its tonics range

10 January, 2018

Luscombe Drinks is expanding its flavoured mixer portfolio and giving the full range a new look.

The range is being extended with the introduction of Light Devon Tonic Water, which, like others in the collection is available in a 20cl, priced at £1.20.

The reduced calorie tonic is crafted using natural Devon spring water and enhanced with the zingy citrus taste of Japanese yuzu and Indian quinine.

Gareth Hess, head of sales, said: “The tonic water sector is rapidly expanding, with sales exceeding £100 million for the first time, a rise of 37% in the past year. The new Light Devon Tonic Water is our response to customer demand for a premium tonic water with fewer calories.

“The New Year also sees a fresh look for our tonics with an elegant new label. A neck label – with an on-trend retro look – has also been added, making the tonics easily distinguishable from other drinks in our range.”

The campaign name There’s A Beer For That may have got cynics like me trying to think of things there wasn’t a beer for, but broadly speaking it was a force for good.
