Enotria & Coe’s Davies takes lead Berry Bros role

13 December, 2017

Former Coe Vintners managing director Matt Davies has joined Berry Bros & Rudd in the newly-created role of managing director for Field’s, Morris & Verdin and Berry Bros & Rudd Wholesale.

Davies headed Coe Vintners before its merger with Enotria in 2015, since when he has been Enotria & Coe’s commercial director.

In the new role he will be responsible for the direction of the divisions’ on and off-trade sales teams.

Chief Executive Dan Jago said: “His experience for driving strong sales growth for both wines and spirits will be invaluable to both the FMV and Berry Bros wholesale channels.

“We have incredibly strong teams within the FMV and wholesale divisions of the business and this new structure will ensure our suppliers are provided with dedicated, specialist support while we develop distribution across our trade network.”

Damian Carrington has taken on the role of agency director to focus on the development and management of agency relationships.
