Sheppy’s adds cans to its portfolio of ciders

29 November, 2017

Sheppy’s has added cans to its portfolio along with a new look designed to cement its premium position.

The family-run cider maker, which has a history that spans six generations and 200 years, has now added two 33cl cans to its range: Classic Cider and a new Cloudy Cider variant. The former is a 5% abv light and sparkling cider, while the newcomer is described as “light and fruity” and it is 4.5% abv.

Managing director, David Sheppy, said: “We are extremely excited about the launch of our cans. This is something we have wanted to do for a while and after our recent rebrand, we felt it was the perfect time. Cans are great as they offer a smaller serving size, are lighter than glass bottles, take up less shelf space, and leave less carbon footprint. Available in our classic cider and cloudy variant – VAT 14 and VAT 07 meet the demand for premium, great tasting, convenient cider.”
