London Wine Fair reveals plans for Innovation Zone for 2018

16 November, 2017

The London Wine Fair will be introducing an Innovation Zone at its 2018 show, designed to champion innovation in the drinks sector.

The area will comprise a dedicated space for start-ups, wine tech brands, ‘disruptors’, and innovations in supply chain and logistics. It will also host a rolling programme of demonstrations, talks and debates on the future of drinsk technology.

The new head of London Wine Fair, Hannah Tovey, said: Innovation is an area which we felt needed to be much more of a focus for the wine industry at large. Having exposure to companies looking to shape the future of the drinks industry, which was not being fulfilled elsewhere. London is already internationally celebrated as the preferred destination for innovative launches and thus The London Wine Fair is the ideal platform to bring these forward-thinking companies together under the same roof as key decision makers from across the UK and international markets. We plan to be as outward looking as possible, sharing cross-sector and truly international content.”
