Höpler launches wine club for Austrian wine fans

14 November, 2017

Family-owned Austrian winery Höpler is launching a new, online wine subscription club for UK fans.

The Höpler Wine Club aims to capitalise on the trend for Austrian wines in the UK by providing British consumers with wines from its vineyard that are not yet widely available in the market.

Twice a year the club will provide wine enthusiasts with the opportunity to discover a selection of six exclusive wines from Höpler . As part of their membership, subscribers will also learn more about the region’s wines, follow the Höpler team adventures in the vineyards and benefit from exclusive offers throughout the year.

Christof Höpler, owner and winemaker, said: “The UK is a key market for us and the Höpler Wine Club is a great way to directly connect with our target consumers and show them the wide range we have on offer. We are really pleased that Austrian wine is beginning to get the recognition it deserves in the UK and we are enjoying educating wine enthusiast about the variety and quality of the wines we produce here in Austria.”

The club launches this month ahead of Christmas with two levels of membership: Gold and Platinum.

“With Christmas a few weeks away, it made sense for us to launch the Club now. The membership is a fun and unusual gift which will please wine lovers in the UK.”

The Gold membership, which costs £145 a year, includes two cases of six wines delivered twice a year (Spring and Autumn), 5% off all wine Höpler purchase at Taste Smith Ltd and two free tickets to the Höpler’s Wine Rooms in Austria (worth E17 each).

The Platinum membership costs £315 and includes the delivery of four mixed cases of six wines including the limited edition single vineyard and dessert wines with all the above benefits.
