Norwegian gin looks to tap into UK gin craze

13 November, 2017

A Norwegian spirits producer is introducing its gin to the UK market this month.

Bareksten Gin, which is inspired by ancient craft traditions, will be exclusively available in the UK via premium importer JBE Imports.

The gin, which has hints of Nordic herbs, potatoes and berries, also takes inspiration from natural and organic ingredients.

JBE has a growing portfolio of luxury spirits, which currently comprises three gin brands and eight spirits brands in total.

Founder, Jonathan Braham-Everett, said: “I am delighted to bring the unique taste and spirit of Norway to the UK. Autumn is the perfect time to introduce this unique gin that is reminiscent of Nordic forests and stuns with its exciting flavour. There truly is nothing like Bareksten in the UK at the moment and I am excited for everyone who now gets the chance to try it.”

Bottles of Bareksten Gin cost £42.
