Diageo launches Cîroc French Vanilla

Diageo has continued the pipeline of new releases under its Cîroc vodka with the launch of a French Vanilla variant.

It follows on from Mango, Pink Grapefruit, Apple, Red Berry and Pineapple and aims to capitalise on growth in the flavoured vodka category, up 7.8% in value in the year to March 2017 (Nielsen).

Cîroc French Vanilla is inspired by French ice cream making techniques and is infused with vanilla to deliver “a rich and creamy taste”.

Nick Temperley, head of Diageo Reserve GB, the luxury portfolio arm of the UK business, said: “We’re committed to bringing innovative products to our customers to deliver on the consumer search for new and exciting drinking experiences, and Cîroc French Vanilla is the latest example of this.”

A 70cl bottle of the 37.5% abv Cîroc French Vanilla has an rrp of £41.05.
