Dunnet Bay adds seasonal botanicals for Summer Edition

05 June, 2017

Dunnet Bay Distillery is gearing up to launch its Summer Edition Rock Rose Gin.

The gin, which hails from the most northerly distillery in mainland Britain, features the same botanicals as the original Rock Rose Gin but with some new seasonal additions. These include meadowsweet, elderflower, lemon balm and clover.

The company was set up in 2014 by husband and wife team, Martin and Claire Murray, with the aim of hand distilling gin using locally foraged ingredients to showcase the heritage and provenance of the Scottish Highlands.

Co-founder Martin Murray said: "Our mission when we created Rock Rose Gin was to craft a spirit that celebrated the heritage and provenance of the Scottish Highlands. Our Seasonal Editions provide a fantastic opportunity to showcase the seasonal variations and nuances in our environment even further and our Summer Edition is light and floral, a really refreshing gin, perfect for the season."

The Summer Edition will be available from 12 June, priced at £37.50.
