Moët Hennessy UK announces new managing director

Bertrand Steip is taking over as managing director of Moët Hennessy UK to replace the outgoing Jo Thornton.

Thornton has been running the firm’s UK arm since 2010 and is moving to become chief executive of Moët Hennessy USA.

Steip, who has spent 27 years at Moët Hennessy in various marketing, sales and management roles, will take over on July 1.

He is currently International Director for Maisons Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon and Mercier.
