Kingsland extends its fusion wine range

04 May, 2017

Kingsland Drinks has extended its confectionery-flavoured fusion wine brand by adding two new sparkling variants.

Mr Gladstone’s Curious Emporium was introduced to the UK market last year with the launch of two still variants: Rhubarb & Custard and Pear Drop. The retro sweets range now has two new 9% abv sparkling additions: Strawberry Bon Bon and Pineapple Cube, both of which are packaged in 75cl bottles with a gold sparkling wine-style foil top.

The Mr Gladstone range was launched last May with the aim of tapping into the demand for fusion drinks, which – in the run-up to the launch - was recording growth of 290%, according to the company.

The original two-strong range targeted both men and women, between the ages of 25 and 35, identified as the beginners, ‘risk averse youngsters’ and ‘generation treaters’.

The drinks, which are all made with 100% natural flavours, can be served over ice, with soda water or as part of a cocktail.
