Discover Riesling and the other grapes of Germany at trade tasting

20 April, 2017

More than 250 wines will be poured at the Wines of Germany trade tasting at the Hospital Club in London on May 9.

The generic body for the country will reveal the top 50 German wines of 2017, as selected by industry experts, while there will be a range of seminars throughout the day.

While Riesling and Pinot Noir hold sway, there is great varietal diversity in Germany’s 13 wine producing regions.

Anne Krebiehl MW will take visitors through examples of Großes Gewächs Silvaner, Weissburgunder, Grauburgunder, Lemberger and Frühburgunder in one masterclass.

The tasting runs from 11am to 5pm.
