Sopexa managing director Anne Burchett steps down

07 November, 2016

Anne Burchett has resigned as Managing Director UK & Ireland at Sopexa and will leave the company on November 10.

Burchett has spent seven years leading the agency and has taken on producers including Nicolas Feuillatte in that time, while the agency has also moved away from exclusively focusing on France to represent port firm Sogevinus and Turkish producer Kavaklidere.

She was previously managing director at Castel UK and off-trade sales director for Waverley TBS among other roles.

Sylvain Rouchy, managing director for Northern Europe at Sopexa, said: “We would like to thank Anne for her dynamism over the last seven years.

“Her excellent knowledge of the British market and the British culture has undoubtedly contributed to the success of the campaigns we have implemented for our clients.

“We are in the process of seeking the right candidate to replace Anne. We have however a strong and talented team in the UK office, which I am confident will manage the business in the interim period.”
