The Epicurean opens its doors this week
The Epicurean, which is described as ‘London’s first dedicated artisan drinks event’, will take place at the Truman Brewery in London this week.
The event, which spans wine, beer and spirits, has been organised by the team behind the London Wine Fair. The 127 exhibitors will highlight their drinks at the venue on Friday 28 and Saturday 29th October.
Alongside drinks, food will be provided by The Rib Man and Street-Eats. There will also be a series of drink-related talks, including sessions from the three Epicurean Ambassadors: Sophie Atherton, Alice Lascelles and Joe Wadsack, who will talk about beer, spirits and wine respectively.
Event manager, Ross Carter, said: “The Epicurean has been unchartered territory for us, with the team’s experience lying largely with trade-facing shows, until now. We have been delighted by the response from exhibitors, who have embraced the concept and feel, like we do, that there is a real appetite for an artisan show that encompasses wine, beer and spirits under one roof, with unlimited sampling, and that is pitched at food and drink lovers who are seeking out those hard to find gems.”
Event partners will be Wenlock Spring, Riedel, Spigelau glassware and INDI & Co. Visitors will receive a free bottle of Wenlock Spring water and a Riedel wine glass on entry, along with an Epicurean branded jute bottle bag, to hold their purchases. Visitors can purchase bottles from exhibitors after the event.
