Roberson partners with Vivino Checkout

24 October, 2016

Roberson Wine has formed a partnership with popular wine app Vivino.

Roberson is now a merchant partner for Vivino’s new wine shopping experience, Vivino Checkout, which enables Vivino’s one million UK users to have access to purchase Roberson’s wines with just two clicks in the Vivino app.

Ben Greene, head of retail at Roberson Wine, said: “Partnering up with Vivino and their Vivino Checkout shopping experience will help our customers and wine-lovers around the country to purchase their favourite wines from us on the spot. Our commitment to excellence, innovation and enjoyment in wine retail is not only limited to creating the best possible shopping experience on our website, but is dedicated to the wine experience at large. To partner with like-minded companies who share our passion for wine is very exciting.”

Roberson Wine, which has won a number of awards this year, moved its wine shopping experience entirely online after closing its iconic Kensington shop in 2015. Vivino Checkout will help to facilitate mobile purchases using the Vivino app, and serves as a supporting medium to the Roberson Wine website.

Vivino founder and CEO Heini Zachariassen, says: “Discovery is at the heart of Vivino. Through ratings from our 20 million users we're helping people find their new favourites. It's imperative that our retail partners share this sense of discovery, which is why we chose to work with Roberson Wine. Their impressive selection of wines means that we can instantly provide our users with some of the very best wines available.”

Roberson Wine is an independent wine merchant which specialises in wines from the USA and France. It has retail, on-trade, off-trade and fine wine departments.
