Club for G&T fans aims to tap into gin growth

07 July, 2016

Three gin fans have launched an online G&T tasting club, which offers gin lovers a selection of gins and tonics each month for a monthly membership fee.

The club was created off the back of gin blog ILoveGin.com, which the three friends launched in February this year.

The site received more than 250,000 visitors in the first week, which then inspired the trio to set up the G&T tasting club, “to help fellow fanatics discover their perfect G&T”.

Each month members receive two miniature gins and two unique tonics or mixers, for the price of £14 (£3.50 per G&T). Each box makes four drinks.

Membership also entitles its members to discounts on full-sized bottles, as well as invites to gin events around the country.

The gin blog’s founder, Toby Vacher, said: “We’re passionate about gin and already have hundreds of thousands of people enjoying gin content on our website, so the next logical step for us was to let people taste new gins easily from the comfort of their home without it costing a fortune. We are starting out with just 250 spaces for the first month, and we are already almost full.”
