Irish craft brewer Brú in UK off-trade push

29 June, 2016

Irish craft brewer Brú is targeting the UK off-trade with a range of bottled beers.

The range comprises the gluten-free Brú Lager, Dubh stout, Rí IPA and Rua red ale.

The brewery is based at Trim in County Meath and was set up by Daire Harlin, Patrick Hurley and David O’Hare in 2013.

It claims to be the best-selling craft brewer in Ireland’s Super Valu chain.

UK sales are being handled in-house by the company’s own export manager.
