Pinkster secures big new listing with Oddbins

01 February, 2016

Raspberry-infused Pinkster Gin has won a major listing with Oddbins and should be on shelf in time for Valentine’s Day.

Founded in 2013, Pinkster signed distribution deals with Coe Vinters and Gordon & MacPhail following a second round of financing at the end of 2014, and picked up listings at Spirited and Nicolas Wines last year.

The Cambridge-based business will supplying point-of-sale material to Oddbins that will highlight the brand’s signature gin and tonic serve with a raspberry and fresh mint.

Stephen Marsh, Pinkster’s managing director said: “Coming hard on the heels of a blistering few month’s trading, we’re mighty chuffed to be taken on by Oddbins.

“Their dominance in London plays to a heartland audience whilst the regional spread, including a strong Scottish presence, potentially takes us into new areas.

“In an extremely crowded category, our distinctive colour and flavour profile helps us stand out from the pack, offering an excellent sales opportunity for February 14 through to the summer months and beyond."

Oddbins has some 47 stores nationwide, with the majority of them in London.

Pinksters will retail at £34.99 for a 70cl bottle.

The company is also partnering with the Gin Festival to run tasting tables and masterclasses at its forthcoming events in London, York, Manchester, Nottingham, Swansea and Cambridge.
