Duvel to launch Boulevard at Craft Beer Rising

Belgian craft brewer Duvel Moortgat will launch its recently-acquired Kansas City brewer Boulevard at the Craft Beer Rising held in London on February 19-22.

The festival is part of London Beer Week and will take place at the Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch.

Matthew Willson, Duvel Moortgat’s general manager for UK and Europe, said: “Duvel Moortgat will initially be introducing two Boulevard brews: Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale and Single-Wide I.P.A.

“Both will be available in 35.5cl bottles. These are characterful, full-flavoured brews that reflect their special ingredients and the excitement of the American craft beer scene.”

The beers have already gained a listing in northern supermarket chain Booths. 

London Beer Week runs from February 16-22, ending with the Craft Beer Rising festival. The festival has evening sessions for public admission on February 19, 20 and 21, with daytime sessions on 21 and 22.

The event gathers 450 beers from 70 breweries, including Adnams, Beavertown, Brewdog, Camden, Fourpure, Ilkley. Northern Monk, Purity and Wild Beer Co.

An international dimension will be provided by leading importers including Pierhead Purchasing, Cave Direct and American Craft Beer Co.

Entertainment includes a headline DJ set from Jazzie B of Soul II Soul and catering will be provided by leading lights from the street food scene.
