Cordoniu managing director appointment falls through

10 December, 2014

Codorníu is back on the hunt for a new UK boss after the appointment of John Hearn fell through.

The Spanish company said Hearn, who was global commercial director at Percy Fox when he was handed the managing director job in October, had not taken up the job.

David Losantos, european commercial director, Codorníu Raventós, told OLN: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, John Hearn was unable to take up the role of managing director at Codorníu Raventós UK. We are currently recruiting for the position. In the meantime, we are 100% committed to our UK business, as can be seen by the recent launch of our advertising campaign for the Codorníu brand."

The company’s previous managing director Nick Mantella left the business in May after 12 years. He has taken up a business development role with United Wineries.
